The use of the plant will save up to 100,000 tons of CO2 per year from 2023. This makes the power-to-heat plant (P2H) in Wedel one of the largest wind power-to-heat plants of its kind in Germany. The investment costs for the plant and its connection to the electricity transmission grid amount to around 31.5 million euros.   <\/p>\n<p>The design of the exterior facade of the approx. 54 x 20 x 16 meter (L x W x H) plant will blend in with the appearance of the existing HKW Wedel power plant and will be executed with trapezoidal profiles made of 1.00 mm aluminum on the one hand and 3.00 mm aluminum cassettes in azure blue on the other.
