A few days ago, the Federal Ministry of Housing, Urban Development and Construction issued an introductory decree informing the responsible federal and state offices that the Supplementary Volume 2023 to VOB 2019 will come into force on October 1, 2023. The updated ATVs contained in this supplementary volume to the VOB replace the corresponding ATVs of the VOB 2019. In addition, three new ATVs were introduced with the Supplementary Volume 2023. <\/p>\n
Particularly noteworthy is the revised ATV DIN 18351, which has been published in a completely new version. These innovations were developed over several years by a group of experts under the chairmanship of Thorsten Senner and under the supervision of DIN and are of enormous importance for construction and project managers, architects, building owners and, above all, for facade construction companies working in the field of rear-ventilated rainscreen facades. <\/p>\n
The inclusion and publication of the new DIN 18351 in the supplementary volume of VOB 2023 was a success that was only possible thanks to the constructive cooperation of the ATV DIN 18351 working committee, the DIN (German Institute for Standardization) and the HAH (Building Construction Main Committee).<\/p>\n
