Titanium zinc

Titanium zinc is an alloy of zinc and small amounts of titanium and copper. The material is very malleable and has a long service life. Compared to pure zinc, it is also more corrosion-resistant and mechanically resilient. Titanium zinc is therefore used exclusively for facade cladding and roofs. Natural weathering causes the bright-rolled, silvery surface of the titanium zinc to become covered with a matt, gray-blue patina over time. To ensure that the patina forms as quickly as possible, the surface is partially pre-weathered artificially. Shades of color are also available within a certain spectrum. Titanium zinc is non-combustible and fully recyclable. Both titanium zinc and titanium zinc composite panels are often used for facade cladding. Titanium zinc composite panels generally offer a particularly flat surface, are easy to process and can be manufactured in large dimensions.
