Consens site managers undergo continuous further training.
On February 23, 2024, the annual seminar for site managers took place at the Ahrensbök training center. The focus was on current case law in construction contract law and its practical effects on construction site execution.
Our site managers attended this seminar, as they do every year, to ensure that they are always up to date and continue their training. The training in Ahrensbök once again covered a wide range of relevant topics, which received their full attention.
Lawyers Stefan Lübke and Thies Richter, both from the Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein construction industry association, focused on the following key topics in their presentations:
- Claims and liability in relation to subcontractor and supplier contracts
- Formal requirements and their effects
- Formal requirements
- Deadline regulations in the VOB/B contract and the avoidance of formal errors and limitation cases
- Requirements for proper notices of concern
- Defects and the associated rectification costs
