Representative facade for functional building from the 80s: CONSENS wins contract for facade of VTE Filter GmbH, Norderstedt
VTE Filter GmbH in Norderstedt has expanded its company site by acquiring the neighboring commercial operations. The administrative and storage areas were combined in new intermediate structures with clinker brick facades. The old building was given a new, rear-ventilated facade made of aluminum panels.
The trade in filters for maritime shipping is the inspiration for the design of the technical-looking 1,700 m² facade area, which makes the building complex of administrative and hall areas into a single unit with a homogeneous appearance. Derived from the existing building, the round design elements correspond with the soft shapes of a calm sea.
