Individual facades on the new construction of 3 multi-storey residential buildings.
Between Lohkoppelweg, Ansgarweg and Rimbertweg, the Hamburg-based housing cooperative KAIFU-NORDLAND eG is building 106 apartments and a daycare center in a highly sought-after area. Bright and comfortable apartments are being built to meet the different needs of the cooperative’s members.
The stepped storeys of these three new buildings are clad by Consens with approx. 1,000 m² of individual U-shaped aluminum sheets, which create a highly structured, vertical corrugated structure. The facades are visibly fastened in the deep corrugations of the edged sheets, with rivets matching the color of the facade sheets being used.
