At this year’s BAU 2017 trade fair in Munich, the Fachverband für vorgehängte hinterlüftete Fassaden (FVHF) invited visitors to a panel discussion entitled “Affordable residential construction – how can we achieve this?”.
Following a joint press conference by the FVHF, the Federal Foundation for Building Culture and the Federation of the German Construction Industry under the motto “Residential construction – economical and innovative” with a focus on “Serial construction”, this topic was discussed in depth and in a targeted manner in a panel discussion with representatives from the construction industry, research & teaching and architects. Mr. Thorsten Senner, Managing Director of CONSENS Bautechnik GmbH and Chairman of the Board of the Federal Facade Construction Division of the German Construction Industry Association, represented the facade construction companies of both associations as a panel guest to explain the possibilities of individualizing serial buildings with ventilated rainscreen facades.
