An office and hall complex in Kiel-Wellsee is being completely refurbished
CONSENS Bautechnik GmbH was awarded the contract to renew the facade surfaces with a total area of over 3,000 m². From mid-September 2019, the building will be given a new outer skin made of aluminum panels in the color signal white, which will significantly change the appearance of the prefabricated concrete building from the 1970s.
After the windows have been dismantled in sections and replaced with new aluminum window strips, the installation of the rear-ventilated facade construction can now begin. The plan is to alternate between a horizontal structure in the parapets and a vertical structure in the ribbon window areas. The entrance area of the building will receive a new cladding of large-format aluminum sheets, which will contrast in color and design with the white panel facade of the upper floors.
