Now we can get started: The sample facade has been completed and component production based on this 1:1 sample can now begin.
Two slightly different, reddish colored concrete elements were sampled. An aluminum window element and window sill with a powder-coated surface as well as a partial area of the cladding with aluminum composite panels were integrated into the sample facade. Windows and aluminum composite panels are framed by the precast concrete elements – as planned for the new fire station building.
We are well on schedule with the completion and approval of the sample facade. From April, Consens will carry out the facade work for the new fire station in Berlin-Hohenschönhausen. Other preparatory work, such as structural analysis, work and installation planning and material planning, is already running in parallel.
