The geological characteristics of the place of origin determine, among other things, the type, quality and color of the countless natural stones. In addition, the surface of the material can be processed in different ways, for example ground, polished or sandblasted. Natural stone is extremely durable and robust. The material can also be impregnated to further improve its weather resistance. Both solid natural stone and natural stone composite panels are often used for facade cladding. Natural stone composite panels generally offer a very good load-bearing capacity, a lower weight compared to solid natural stone and can be produced in large dimensions.
